description for "Geraniums: Pelargonium 'Scarlet Eye'"
Scarlet with a white eye. The Orbit Series produces an amazing number of flowers on compact, 14 inch plants with good basal branching. Foliage is beautifully zoned and colors are bright and non-fading. Very few flowers can compete with the indispensable geranium for summer flower beds, hanging baskets and containers. Start seed indoors about 16 weeks before plants are to be moved outside. A perennial in warm enough climates; treated as an annual in most American gardens. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Once established for the season, it will tolerate temporary periods of drought. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
