description for "Scented Geraniums: Pelargonium 'Lemon Meringue'"
'Lemon Meringue' scented geranium is a stiffly upright 18-24" plant with medium green. 3-lobed leaves. It's scent is just as strong, but slightly different than other lemon-scented geraniums; perhaps a bit sweeter. Tender perennial. Overwinters outdoors in zones 8-10; should be potted and brought indoors in mid-autumn in colder climates. A perennial in warm enough climates; treated as an annual in most American gardens. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Once established for the season, it will tolerate temporary periods of drought. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
