description for "Peach and Nectarine: Prunus persica 'Stark Sensation'"

'Stark Sensation' is remarkable! If you point out the little tree in its little pot, then show these firm, sweet, full-size peaches, your guests will think you're kidding... unless they see the tree when its loaded down with fruit. These are just right for eating fresh, for canning, for freezing, or for making old-fashioned peach cobbler. Ripens in mid-July in Zone 5. Recommended for Zones 5 to 8, but you can grow this tree in Zone 4 if you protect it during the winter. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
