description for "Scented Geraniums: Pelargonium 'Blandfordianum'"

'blandfordianum' scented geranium has been around a long time, and justifiably so. Its deeply cut gray leaves and white flowers with maroon centers make it a specimen plant, either in a large pot (12-14") or at the center of a round rose garden. Loves full sun and grows straight up to a height of 36" and a diameter of about 18". It is strongly but pleasantly pungent. Tender perennial. Overwinters outdoors in zones 8-10; should be potted and brought indoors in mid-autumn in colder climates. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
