'Sierra Beauty' is a large, blocky, handsome apple with green and yellow skin, striped or blushed red. A favorite apple from Boonville, CA. Juicy, very crisp and tart. A good seller in farm markets and an excellent keeper. Minimum of 6 hours of sun required during growing season. 3-4 years until fruit bearing. Keeps all winter. 'Sierra Beauty' is a cross-pollinator which is best pollinated by the varieties 'Kidd's Orange Red' and 'Lady'. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
