The coneflower's large, sturdy blossoms are terrific mixed in perennial borders and cutting gardens. The plant is quite drought tolerant. Lovely upright habit and multistemmed. Coneflower grows quickly and has coarse green foliage with large white or purple blossoms with dark, rounded centers. Blooms summer into fall.
