description for "Scented Geraniums: Pelargonium fragrans"
Nutmeg geranium has frilly, notched leaves that are gently spiced with the fragrance so beloved in pumpkin pies and egg nog. The plants bear small, white flowers and have a spreading growth habit to 2 to 3 feet. Tender perennial. Overwinters outdoors in zones 8-10; should be potted and brought indoors in mid-autumn in colder climates. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
