description for "Geraniums: Pelargonium 'North Star'"
'North Star' geranium is an outstanding white variety with large florets that provide a fuller appearance and the rich green foliage gives excellent contrast. Well-balanced plant form and improved garden performance. 'North Star' leads beyond previous white varieties. Very good heat tolerance and semi-double flowers. A perennial in warm enough climates; treated as an annual in most American gardens. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Once established for the season, it will tolerate temporary periods of drought. -- edited by dtd pbcouchman
