With over 300 varieties, Artemisia are known for their exceptional foliage, medicinal value and even culinary uses. As part of the daisy family Asteraceae, it is a diverse and large genus of plants. In landscape design, the often silvery tone of the fern-like leaves make for dramatic statements. One of the more famous members of the Artemisia Family is Tarragon (A. dracunculu) used in French Cuisine. And of course Wormwood, which is used to make Absinthe.
