Swiss Chard

Introduction

Swiss Chard is a member of the beet family. Bred for leaves rather than roots. Stems are be beautifully colored - pink, orange, yellow, red and white.

Leaves can be used fresh for salads or cooked. Some chard varieties are resistant to bolting.
