Vertical gardening and living walls

Vertical gardening and living walls is an idea that is gaining popularity. It’s very helpful in urban areas where floorspace or patio space is lacking but there are plenty of walls.
Vertical gardening and living walls is an idea that is gaining popularity. It’s very helpful in urban areas where floorspace or patio space is lacking but there are plenty of walls. The Woollypocket is a product made in the USA, from 100% recycled materials, that makes it easy to get your start in unique artistic vertical gardening.
“Wally” is Woollypocket’s line of indoor or outdoor pockets that are fixed directly to a wall with wall anchors. A lot of engineering went into these little pockets to make them a lot more than just a pot on the wall. They are breathable but have a moisture barrier to protect your wall and anything below the pocket. It also has a smart watering system to allow you to water the “tongue” and then the water is wicked down to the reservoir at the roots. There are differences in the indoor and outdoor version to make them work optimally in their environment.
I am excited and may just have to try to grow ferns in my tiny bathroom or herbs in the kitchen. Best thing it that it makes it harder for those cute but pesky plant killing kitties to destroy your garden!
