How long does it take to grow?

  • 40-60 days to maturity
  • Sow seeds in early spring, or August for a fall crop! 
  • This will overwinter if mulched heavily.

How do I harvest it?

  • You can pick outer leaves as soon as they are ready and leave inner leaves to grow.
  • Harvest the whole plant before temperatures warm up and the plant goes to seed by cutting at the base of the soil.
