This is a great crop to grow for an addition to summer salads and coleslaw.

 

CHINESE CABBAGE

How long does it take?

  • 6 weeks from seed to maturity, and 3 weeks from seedling.
  • Harvesting should peak mid-June thru July if plantd in the spring.

How do I cut it?

  • The plant should be about 4" tall when you cut it off the stalk with a sharp knife just above the soil.

Will it resprout?

  • Yes!  Small baby leaves may sprout off of the stalk once you have cut it.
