Tangy mustard Vinegrette with Steamed Artichokes

This is the best way to eat an artichoke in the world- just steam it, and pour this tangy vinegrette on top of each artichoke, serve and eat!

 

MUSTARD VINEGRETTE WITH STEAMED ARTICHOKES

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 clove garlic - grated or chopped finely

1/2 tsp - dijon mustard

1 lemon - juice of the lemon

2 TBS - olive oil

1 tsp - salt

 

Step 1

  • place all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk together with a fork for one minute

Step 2:

  • Steam artichoke in one inch of water covered for 10 minutes.

Step 3:

  • Pour vinegrette over artichokes and serve individually!

I have eaten this 100 million times in my lucky life and I will eat it 100 million more- tee tee the gardener is my mom and a star of a cook! I am hounding her to put more recipes on DTD b/c she's got some great ones for veggies- if you hound her enough she'll get her FAMOUS broccoli salad up here that even kids will eat.
