When your rose bushes are in full bloom, take advantage of their fragrant (and flavorful) blossoms by cooking them into something delicious. Everything's coming up roses in the kitchen!

 

 

ROSE PETAL TEA

Rose, Miniature, "Angel Wings"

 

Prep Time: 5 mins

Done in: 10 mins

 

12 Tbs. -  fresh rose petals washed and dried

4 cups - Hot boiling water

STEP 1:

  • Wash your rose petal well and pat dry with a paper towel.

STEP 2:

  • Boil Water and steep petals in water for 6 minutes to release their flavor and fragrance.

STEP 3:

  • Serve hot or cold, sweetened to taste with a slice of fresh orange or lemon.

Makes 4 cups
