Edible Plant Sale: Seattle Tilth

by FigTree

Every Spring Seattle Tilth holds an edible plant sale and this year I made out like a bandit. Now all I have to do is learn how to plant asparagus!

On Saturday March 20th Seattle Tilth held their annual edible plant sale, and although I was one of the last people to get there, there was still a lot of great plants!  And by the way at 1:15pm they opened up the sale and had everything for 1/2 off!!!  I ran back in there and bought another round of plants.  Now I have to get cracking and start planting.

I purchased 2 varieties of strawberries, chocolate mint, lavender, peas, and thyme.  It was an amazing sale and I am definitely hitting it next year with a plan of buying many fruit trees!

What a great plant sale! Looks like there was a great supply to choose from. How is chocolate mint and what do you do with it? <br/>

No idea yet- SO far, I think it is just like regular mint, but you can make chocolate mint tea I guess-- we'll see. I'll let you know... It smells AWESOME.
